Printable Resources

Mommy Made That – This link has lots of printable games. Some are simple like tic-tac-toe, but there are some “Would You Rather?” cards for conversation, Bingo Cards you can set up with your content, and a Scrabble Board.  https://www.mommymadethat.com/printable-games/#Printable_Tic_Tac_Toe_Boards 

ALL ESL – This site has a lot of support for those teaching ESL, along with some specific games for teaching English. Many of these would fit for those learning to read, too. https://allesl.com/free-esl-games/

iSL – There are thousands of games on this site. It has several versions of the game “Memory” to practice vocabulary. https://en.islcollective.com/english-esl-worksheets/search/game 

Barton – If your program has access to Barton, you site may have the pre-made games that Barton produces. Ask your site administrator. 

ESL Lounge – More ESL games, but these are more specifically designed around topics. https://www.esl-lounge.com/board_gamesindex2.php

Quizlet – Practice activities and interactive quizzes. https://quizlet.com/ 

Quizziz.com – Create interactive quizzes and play them in class or assign them for outside of class practice. https://quizizz.com/?lng=en 

Jeopardy Labs – Both premade and blank templates to play Jeopardy with any content!  https://jeopardylabs.com/ 

Padlet – This is more of an interactive note-taking sharing system, but can be used for games and engagement. www.padlet.com
