Shumona is a physician an was a licensed medical practitioner in her native country, Bangladesh. She came to the USA in 2013 with her husband and since then has been struggling to establish her identify as a licensed medical practitioner here.

She is fascinated by traveling to wonderful places, taking pictures, cooking, walking, discovering new things, and getting to know people from different cultures. She regularly attends classes at the Ozark Literacy Council. She feels the faculty and staff are empathetic and helpful and that the students are amazing and friendly. She finds the OLC not only an educational organization, but also a place to socialize with others.
